Job summary

HomeServe USA Corp. in Norwalk, CT seeks a Director to lead a hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure team ensuring 99.99% uptime for data centre and cloud services. You will drive automation, AWS-based governance, and 24x7 production operations while managing budgets, vendors, and compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in hybrid infrastructure ops, 5+ years in a Director/Senior Manager role, and strong ITIL/ITSM expertise. Strong leadership, communication, and architectural skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE or CS; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years in mission-critical hybrid infrastructure operations.
• 5+ years in Director or Senior Manager role.
• Proven experience with AWS/cloud-native architectures and automation.
• Strong ITIL/ITSM, Agile Scrum knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive a cloud-first, automation-first operations strategy using AWS-native services, IaC, and event-driven automation.
• Lead automated workflows with CI/CD pipelines, scripting (Python), and cloud-native frameworks.
• Establish observability standards across on-prem and AWS with logging, metrics, tracing, and AIops insights.
• Manage lifecycle of hybrid infrastructure assets across servers, storage, networks, and cloud resources.
• Maintain 99.99% SLA uptime for production infrastructure.
• Oversee incident management, alerts, escalations, and notifications.
• Develop operating policies, SOPs, MOPs, and training programs.
• Manage MSPs and ensure SLA/KPI attainment and SOW compliance.
• Lead annual DR testing and change management.
• Ensure SOX, PCI compliance and adherence to ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
• Focus on customer service excellence and IT business service reliability.
