Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer to lead the development, design, and implementation of FinOps solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, owning the most complex client scenarios and serving as the primary technical escalation point.

You will define the cost analysis methodology, optimization and commitment strategies, and set standards for data models, automation, and reusable assets, while mentoring Cloud FinOps Engineers and coordinating delivery resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, design, and implementation of FinOps solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, owning the most complex client scenarios and serving as the primary technical escalation point for Cloud FinOps Engineers.
• Define the methodology for cost analysis, optimization, commitment strategy, and unit economics, setting standards for data models, automation, and reusable assets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Cloud FinOps Engineers and coordinate delivery resources without direct personnel-management responsibility.
