Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer to lead cloud financial management and optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP for multiple clients. You will own complex analyses, deliver client-facing advisories, mentor engineers, and drive automation and governance improvements.

Remote role across the United States with occasional travel and after-hours support; you will partner with finance, procurement, and engineering to translate data into measurable business value and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud FinOps or cost optimization experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
• Experience communicating complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud spend analyses and optimization opportunities across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Own cost visibility, allocation, and governance for multi-account environments.
• Develop dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and executive summaries.
• Mentor engineers and drive automation in FinOps practices.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and engineering to translate findings into business value.
