Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Fully Remote (must work in Eastern time zone hours)

6+ month Contract (extensions highly likely)

$60.00 – 70.00/hour (flexible D.O.E.)

A leading healthcare payer is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to join the team building out and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure to have high availability, scalability, and automation across containers. If you are well-versed in Kubernetes and are seeking a modern collaborative environment where your work will impact thousands of customers, keep reading and apply!

• Must have certification in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and/or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS to manage deployments.
• Strong proficiency in GCP cloud services, especially container orchestration and infrastructure management.
• Experience with tools and software used for monitoring, managing, and automating cloud resources.
• Experience using Terraform, Helm, or other IaC and orchestration tools is preferred.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on GCP using GKE.
• Optimize orchestration, autoscaling, and provisioning across containerized environments.
• Monitor infrastructure health and troubleshoot using observability tools.
• Contribute to security and fault tolerance improvements across workloads.
