Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Database Engineer in Concord, NH to design and implement databases and data platforms that support analytics and business operations. You will build data pipelines, optimize queries, ensure data quality, and collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Proficiency in SQL, Azure/AWS, Python, and Power Platform is essential, with a strong focus on production ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or professional certifications preferred with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in data engineering, database development, or a closely related role with ETL/ELT pipelines for relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data quality, and pipeline orchestration.
• Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing and API integration.
• Experience with Git-based development and version control.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure and/or AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Office products (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Lists).
• Ability to work within standard procedures to solve problems and adapt to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and platforms supporting analytics and operations.
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop solutions using Power Platform products including Power Apps and Power Automate; Azure SQL.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security; manage backups and DR plans.
• Fine‑tune queries, indexing, and data models to boost performance.
• Maintain documentation like data dictionaries and models; support end users.
