Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Database Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and platforms to support analytics, reporting, and business operations. The role requires strong SQL, cloud data platform experience, and ownership of from source-system integration to production deployment.

You will work with data analysts, stakeholders, and engineers to translate complex data needs into scalable solutions and ensure data quality, security, and documentation while leveraging Power Platform tools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building production ETL/ELT pipelines for relational databases.
• Strong SQL skills with advanced joins, window functions and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and Power Platform tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain and improve data pipelines and platforms for analytics and operations.
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders and engineers to translate data requirements.
• Develop solutions using Power Platform tools and Azure SQL.
• Ensure data quality, security, backups, and recovery plans.
• Optimize performance with indexing and data structures; maintain documentation.
• Provide end-user training and support for database systems.
