Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Data Center Technician to help maintain the heartbeat of AWS infrastructure. You will install rack hardware, perform break-fix, troubleshoot networks, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 service availability.

This role requires physical work, shifts including nights and weekends, and travel between data centers as needed. You will join a diverse team of engineers and operations staff responsible for powering global cloud

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking experience.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to documentation and onboarding new team members.
