Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineering Manager in the United States to lead a team of experts who provide trusted technical guidance to accelerate workload migrations and remove blockers. You will foster technical ownership and delivery excellence across the Google Cloud portfolio.

You will mentor team members, partner with Sales to define go-to-market plans, and shape delivery and adoption strategies for customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Leadership experience including people management, team leadership, or mentorship.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience communicating with customers via technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Customer Engineers focusing on culture, talent strategy, and skills development to deliver cloud transformation outcomes.
Foster customer partnership and provide thought leadership related to cloud and cross-pillar solutions to drive technical wins.
Partner with Sales to define technical go-to-market strategies and delivery plans, aligning staffing needs.
Balance technical leadership with operational excellence; lead workload and opportunity review meetings and migration planning.
Work cross-functionally across Google, partners, and your team to resolve technical roadblocks.
