Job summary
Ford Credit seeks a Director of Cloud & AI Infrastructure Operations to lead reliable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud and container environments. You will drive AI infrastructure adoption, collaborate with security and enterprise teams, and ensure production‑grade delivery across Google Cloud, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and on‑prem data centers.
You will mentor engineers, partner with enterprise architects, and shape governance for AI-enabled operations while maintaining focus on cost and security
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
- 10+ years in cloud infra/ platform engineering with strong GCP exposure.
- Hands-on with Kubernetes/OpenShift and secure cloud design.
- Experience in HA/DR for hybrid environments (cloud/on‑prem).
- Familiarity with AI infra concepts and secure AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for apps on GCP and container platforms.
- Design and implement HA/DR across hybrid environments.
- Advance AI infrastructure concepts and secure AI tooling adoption.
- Embed security scanning and governance in pipelines.
- Collaborate across multiple teams and vendors; mentor staff.
