Job summary

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is seeking a Closing Manager for the Morrisville, NC location. The role covers the closing shift with a start window between 2–5pm, five days a week, with Fri–Sun as the expected shifts and a typical 40-hour workweek.

Compensation is up to $20 per hour, with benefits after six months and paid vacation. The role requires a hands-on leader with drive-thru experience and a strong focus on guest satisfaction and nightly shutdowns.

• High standards of operational execution and nightly shutdown.

• Must be able to taste and handle all menu items
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift 50 lbs. from ground up

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly closing operations and ensure proper shutdown.
• Manage closing shift staff and maintain service quality during hours from 2–5pm start to late close.
• Safeguard guest experience by addressing issues and ensuring quick resolutions.
• Uphold standards for food quality, cleanliness and safety.

Job description

The leader selected will work the closing shift 5 days per week starting between 2-5pm, Fri/Sat/Sun are expected shifts.

Keep in mind we close at 10pm Sunday-Thursday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday, this role will be at 40 hours or perhaps slightly above.

Closing Manager Candidates Compensation and Benefits:
