Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q is seeking a Closing Manager to lead the nightly closing process five days a week, with shifts starting 2–5pm and Fridays through Sundays expected. The role is based on site in Morehead City, NC, and involves ensuring orders, safety, and quality while maintaining guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has restaurant leadership experience, strong communication, and a hands-on, upbeat leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead the closing shift five days per week, starting 2–5pm, with Fri/Sat/Sun as expected shifts.
• Oversee nightly shutdown, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Manage drive-thru and dining room operations during peak times.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and resolve issues to prevent unhappy customers.

Job description

The leader selected will work the closing shift 5 days per week starting between 2-5pm, Fri/Sat/Sun are expected shifts.

Keep in mind we close at 10pm Sunday-Thursday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday, this role will be at 40 hours or perhaps slightly above.

Closing Manager Candidates Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation up to $20 per hour.
• The latest closing time is 11 pm on Fri/Sat
