Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Closeout Specialist for the Business Management closeout team. The role focuses on closing subcontract agreements and related activities, with a strong emphasis on closeout tasks. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities include closing subcontracts and primes, reviewing subcontract invoices, and coordinating with internal departments and external customers. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of independent work, and proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel

Qualifications

SAIC's Business Management closeout team is seeking a Closeout Specialist. The selected candidate will perform a variety of activities in support of closeout, with a heightened focus on closing subcontract agreements.

This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete closeout of subcontracts issued by SAIC/acquisition as assigned.

• Complete closeout of prime contracts issued by SAIC as assigned.

• Review and process subcontract invoices.

• Interface with various functional areas inside SAIC.

• Interface with various customers outside SAIC.

• Be cognizant of department goals and deadlines and track personal closeout statistics to accomplish stated goals.

• Work multiple projects simultaneously and adjust quickly to emerging priorities on short notice.

• Additional responsibilities may include close-out submission of invoices and other duties as required by the needs of the department.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma plus 2+ years of related experience.

Required Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting government contracts.

Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
