Job summary

SAIC's Business Management closeout team seeks a Closeout Specialist to perform a variety of closeout activities, with a focus on closing subcontract agreements. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities include completing closeout of subcontracts and prime contracts, reviewing subcontract invoices, interfacing with SAIC functional areas and external customers, and tracking closeout statistics. Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracts is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and task management capabilities.
• Interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to motivate and support team success.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS; experience with government contracts preferred.

• Complete closeout of prime contracts issued by SAIC as assigned.
• Review and process subcontract invoices.
• Interface with various functional areas inside SAIC.
• Interface with various customers outside SAIC.
• Be cognizant of department goals and deadlines and track personal closeout statistics to accomplish stated goals.
• Work multiple projects simultaneously and adjust quickly to emerging priorities on short notice.
• Additional responsibilities may include close-out submission of invoices and other duties as required by the needs of the department.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma plus 2+ years of related experience.
