Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a full-time Legal Billing Specialist to support the Fort Lauderdale office. You will manage the firm's billing lifecycle, from time-entry review to invoice delivery, using Clio, and ensure accurate client accounts receivable and payments.

The ideal candidate has prior law‑firm billing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment. On-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Prior law‑firm billing experience required.
• Experience with billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and client‑account follow‑up.
• Hands‑on experience using Clio for billing, invoicing, payments, or matter management.
• Experience managing a billing cycle from time‑entry review through invoicing, payment application, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the legal billing cycle in Clio, including time‑entry review, pre‑bill preparation, invoice revisions, final billing, and invoice delivery.
• Review attorney and staff time entries for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and compliance with firm billing procedures.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to obtain billing corrections and resolve time‑entry or invoice questions.
• Prepare, review, and distribute client invoices on the firm's billing schedule.
• Process and apply client payments received by approved payment methods.
• Monitor accounts receivable, aging reports, outstanding invoices, and client retainer balances.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding billing questions, invoice discrepancies, and outstanding account balances.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client billing, payment, and account records.
• Assist with billing reports, accounts‑receivable reporting, reconciliation, and month‑end financial review.
• Identify billing issues before invoices are finalized and recommend practical solutions.
• Follow firm procedures for client funds, retainer balances, and related billing documentation.
• Support a professional, responsive client experience while protecting confidential financial information.
