Job summary

Infinity Law Group in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to manage billing, accounts receivable, client trust accounting, and related financial administration for our law firm.

You will own the billing cycle from start to finish, ensuring invoice accuracy, monitoring A/R, applying payments in Clio, and supporting case budgets and timekeeping.

Strong attention to detail, an independent work style, and professional communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal billing, law firm accounting, bookkeeping, A/R, or a similar financial role.
• Clio or comparable legal billing software experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IOLTA/trust accounting strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.
• Excellent organization and follow-through.
• Professional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage recurring deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage twice-monthly client billing and review invoices for accuracy.

• Prepare and track retainer replenishment requests.
• Maintain client trust/IOLTA records and process approved transfers.

• Respond professionally to client billing questions.
• Work with attorneys, leadership, and our bookkeeper to resolve discrepancies.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of the billing process from start to finish.

• Manage twice-monthly client billing and review invoices for accuracy
• Monitor A/R and follow up on outstanding balances and retainers
• Apply payments and maintain accurate financial records in Clio
• Prepare and track retainer replenishment requests
• Maintain client trust/IOLTA records and process approved transfers
