Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers in New Jersey is seeking a Clinician in Training to join a motivated, center-based team dedicated to transforming the lives of children with autism. You will be paired with an experienced BCBA mentor and gain hands-on experience through the CiT Training sequence.

The role emphasizes shared caseloads, on-the-job training, and growth within a supportive, fun work culture. Training phases lead to independent consults as you progress toward licensure and certification.

Qualifications

• Entry-level CiT role designed with mentorship by an experienced BCBA.
• Willing to shadow, learn, and progress through CiT training phases.
• Ability to lift and move clients (minimum 30 pounds) as needed.
• In-process supervision hours (1650 accrued) toward BCBA certification.

Responsibilities

• Share a caseload with an experienced BA in the center who serves as a mentor and coach.
• Assist with PS tasks related to shared clients (create materials for learners on caseload).
• Assist in maintenance and organization of therapy materials for learners on caseload.
• Assist with CST for new hires entering pod as assigned by BCBA.
• Assist with BIC’s as assigned by BCBA.
• Assist with ongoing integrity checks and training BTs on new programming implemented by BCBA.
• Assist with completion of monthly progress reports.
• Attend parent meetings and assist with material preparation for meetings and trainings.
• Assist with creating and updating charts and data sheets following a shared consult.
