Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers in New Jersey is seeking a full-time Clinician in Training to join our center-based team. You will work under an experienced BCBA mentor, share a caseload, and help families support children with autism through our play-based approach.

The CiT role emphasizes hands-on training, observation, and stepwise responsibility as you progress from shadowing to independent consultations, with on-site supervision and structured learning in a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Is the Clinician in Training role a good fit for you? You enjoy working with children and love learning.
• Are you in the process of finishing supervision (last 3-4 months), waiting to take the BCBA exam, or newly certified and applying for licensure?
• Supervision hours 1650 accrued.
• Do you demonstrate Bierman’s core values?
• Are you able to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum of 30 pounds) as needed?

Responsibilities

• Share a caseload with an experienced BA in the center who serves as a mentor and coach.
• Assist with PS tasks related to shared clients and create materials for learners on caseload.
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of therapy materials for learners on caseload.
• Assist with CST for new hires entering pod as assigned by BCBA.
• Assist with BIC’s as assigned by BCBA.
• Assist with ongoing integrity checks and training BTs on new programming implemented by BCBA.
• Assist with the completion of monthly progress reports.
• Sit in on parent meetings and prepare materials for meetings and trainings.
• Assist with creating and updating charts and data sheets following a shared consult.
