CRF is seeking a Clinician I for an on-site, part-time, temporary role in San Diego. The position requires a Master’s degree and California licensure, with 16–24 hours weekly and weekend shift differential.
This role focuses on initial assessments, individual/group/milieu services, discharge planning, and crisis intervention within a team-based setting. Shifts include Tue 8:00–4:30, Fri 3:30–Midnight, Sat 8:00–4:30, or Sun 3:30–Midnight.
16 - 24 hours per week. Available shifts are Tuesday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Friday, 3:30 pm to Midnight; Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or Sunday, 3:30 pm to Midnight. This is an on-site position and requires in-person attendance to perform the essential functions of the job.

Our Crisis Centers are Short Term Acute Residential Treatment (START) programs (Del Sur Crisis Center, Esperanza Crisis Center , Halcyon Crisis Center, Hawthorne Crisis Center, Jary Barreto Crisis Center, New Vistas Crisis Center, and Turning Point Crisis Center that provide intensive, community-based crisis residential services for adults throughout San Diego County. They deliver a unique alternative to psychiatric hospitalization to clients who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis of such magnitude so as not to be manageable on an outpatient basis. Their services are provided in a home-like environment that specializes in the psychosocial rehabilitation of each individual.

Master's degree in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Waivered Psychologist with the California Board of Psychology required

Meets the bio-psychosocial needs of clients by providing indicated behavioral health services, case management services and/or crisis intervention, and documents services appropriately. Works with individuals to assist them in accessing appropriate support services and entitlements, medical care, community resources, and family support systems in an effort to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
Residential programs are required to be operational 24 hours a day, 365 days per year including all CRF recognized holidays. Given this requirement, employees are expected to work on all CRF recognized holidays depending on staffing needs as scheduled.
