Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Program Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for clinicians and internal teams. You will lead content creation, leverage ADDIE and Kirkpatrick models, and coordinate onboarding and advanced curricula across franchises.

This role requires strong PowerPoint skills, excellent facilitation and communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; RN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years pharma/biotech training.
• Demonstrated ability applying adult learning principles, ADDIE Model, Kirkpatrick evaluation model, competency models, curriculum and workshop design.
• Outstanding PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent facilitation, platform, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel and overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for training materials and home-study materials for new hire, annual, and follow-up training across multiple franchises using live, virtual, and workshop formats.
• Apply adult learning principles to optimize learning retention and application.
• Develop training materials (PowerPoint, manuals, online tutorials) reflecting clinical trends and settings.
• Conduct needs analyses with SMEs and client groups to identify gaps.
• Design learning content from scratch using ADDIE methodology.
• Update materials to reflect healthcare and regulatory changes; ensure compliance.
• Provide evaluations and feedback to trainees and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build onboarding and advanced curricula using technology and materials.
• Define metrics to monitor the effectiveness of training and identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify business processes where the team must excel to reach strategic goals.
• Interface with field management, leadership, and support teams to drive results.
