Job summary

Catalight is seeking a Clinical Manager Trainer to strengthen clinical quality and workforce readiness through hands-on, clinic-based onboarding, training, and competency support. The role is on site in an assigned regional clinic, maintains a small caseload, supports center operations, and contributes to organization-wide learning initiatives across Behavioral Health Services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, early childhood education or related field.
• Current BCBA certification or equivalent clinical licensure in good standing.
• Two+ years licensed or certified, with three years of Behavioral Health experience and autism/ID/DD exposure.
• Two+ years of staff direction, training, mentorship, or development.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person onboarding and role-specific training for Behavior Interventionists, Supervisors, and Clinicians within the assigned region.
• Document training attendance and support completion of annual clinical competency checklists.
• Coordinate and facilitate clinic-based shadow experiences and first-session support for new hires.
• Conduct RBT initial competency assessments and role plays.
• Provide regional training and refreshers based on clinical priorities and funder requirements.
• Respond to clinic concerns when supervisors unavailable and communicate follow-up needs.
• Maintain a small ongoing caseload with individualized treatment plans and care teams.
• Provide temporary coverage for clinic sessions to maintain continuity of care.
• Support clinic operations to ensure a safe, organized, treatment-ready environment.
• Complete competency/fidelity checks and share objective observations with managers.
• Mentor newer BCBA clinicians and participate in staff interviews when needed.
• Develop and facilitate professional development units and manager trainings with proper documentation.
• Support clinical quality and documentation initiatives, aligning with BACB and funder expectations.
