Job summary

Health Care for the Homeless seeks a Clinical Training Program Manager to develop and deliver behavioral health trainings grounded in evidence-based practices. The role includes supervising early career clinicians and student interns, and providing clinical supervision to support equitable care.

The position collaborates across the agency to align trainings with funders, maintains CEU standards, and ensures high-quality documentation and client care in a busy behavioral health division.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work is required.
• Maryland LCSW-C license with supervisory designation.
• Three years of experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating chronic mental illness and substance abuse.
• Five years of experience supervising staff/interns with focus on training/education.
• Experience with homeless/low-income populations.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and refinement of a behavioral health training program.
• Deliver trainings grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Stay updated on research and best practices in behavioral health.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to create training materials.
• Customize trainings for different organizations and funders.
• Maintain CEU standards according to MD licensing boards and issue CEUs.
• Provide supervision for early career clinicians and student interns.
• Provide clinical services for a small caseload (up to two sessions/week).
• Complete documentation in EHR per guidelines.
