Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician to supervise and mentor on-shift staff within a fast-paced behavioral health program. You will support clinical teams, model trauma-informed care, and help implement treatment procedures for residents facing behavioral health crises.

The role focuses on leadership, staff coaching, and ensuring high-quality client care in a residential setting. Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is valued, with growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising Behavioral Health Technicians.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and support team success.
• Must meet background checks and regulatory requirements.
• Residential care facility credentials (LIMA) within 90 days if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Behavioral Health Technicians on shift with real-time coaching.
• Supervise daily activities of clients in a safe, therapeutic community.
• Model professional conduct and trauma-informed care practices.
• De-escalate crisis situations under supervision of leadership.
• Facilitate education, skill-building, and recreational groups as scheduled.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and supervision of staff.
• Prepare education materials and curricula development as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with state and CARF standards.
• Assist with medication administration policies and team compliance.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift coverage, and staff meetings.
• Complete performance reviews for direct reports.
• Perform core duties of a Behavioral Health Technician as required.
