Job summary

Easterseals Northern California seeks a Clinical Manager Trainer to strengthen clinical quality and workforce readiness through hands-on, clinic-based onboarding and ongoing competency support. The role is on-site in an assigned regional clinic, with a small caseload and collaboration across Behavioral Health Services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree, PsyD, or PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis, early childhood education or related field with BCBA credential.
• Licensed or certified for at least two years with strong ABA background.
• Three years of experience in Behavioral Health services, preferably with autistic individuals or IDD.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person onboarding and role-specific training for Behavior Interventionists, Program Supervisors, and Clinical Managers in the region, with virtual training when appropriate.
• Document training attendance and support completion of new hire's annual clinical competency checklist.
• Coordinate clinic-based shadow experiences and first-session support for new hires, including observation and RBT activities.
• Collaborate with Senior Clinical Managers to coordinate clinician support and promote onboarding and skill development.
• Coordinate RBT Initial Competency Assessments and conduct role-play or direct skill assessment as needed.
• Provide regional training and refreshers based on clinical priorities, knowledge gaps, and funder/regulatory requirements.
• Respond to immediate clinic concerns, provide initial direction, and communicate follow-up needs.
