Job summary

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, VA seeks a Clinical Technician 1 to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. This part-time role runs 7:00 AM–7:30 PM with rotating days, weekends and holidays, offering exposure across the PCU.

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
