Inova Loudoun Hospital – Oncology is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to support daily patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. The role requires clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams, while upholding professional standards across the hospital system.

The position involves rotating days, weekend and holiday shifts, with a focus on safety, quality, and compassionate care in a leading nonprofit health system in Northern Virginia.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSE required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or within 90 days of hire.
• Solid verbal and written English communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

This schedule for this role will be Full -Time | Days | 7:00AM - 7:30PM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
