Inova Alexandria Hospital, part of Inova Health System, is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. The position is full-time with day shifts, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and rotating weekends and holidays.

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
