Inova Health System is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the Medical Surgical team at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. This full-time night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) includes rotating days, weekends and holidays and provides direct patient care under registered nurses. Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – Medical Surgical is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be Full -Time | Nights | 6:00PM – 6:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities:

Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Training:

Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
Virtual training modules.
On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
