Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a part-time Clinical Technician 1 to join the PCU team. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, strong communication with staff and patients, and maintaining professional standards across a busy hospital setting.

Training includes virtual orientations and on-unit shifts. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification (or within 90 days), and proficient English communication.

Formación

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital – PCU is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be part-time | Days | 7:00AM – 7:30PM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
