Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, as well as procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report significant changes to a nurse or physician.
• Perform clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, review orders for logic, transcribe orders, maintain medical records.
• Provide administrative and clerical support including PI audits and data entry.
• Provide clinical support: transport patients/supplies, clean areas, troubleshoot equipment, restock supplies, orient new staff.
• Provide direct personal care per plan of care activities: vitals, bathing, feeding, ambulation; monitor oxygen, suctioning, wound care, IV care, catheter care.
• Reinforce patient teaching and distribute education materials.
