Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in verbal and written English; capable of developing computer skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant I per NC DHHS required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procure equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report significant changes to RN or physician.
• Perform clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, review orders, transcribe orders, and maintain medical records.
• Provide clinical support such as cleaning work areas, stocking supplies, transporting patients and specimens, orientation of new staff.
• Provide direct patient care per plan of care: bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulation, and vital signs recording.
• Reinforce patient teaching and distribute educational materials.
