Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a clinic-based team member to support patient care by performing essential clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth patient experience and contributing to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care under supervision, welcoming and rooming patients, obtaining vitals, assisting with examinations, communicating follow-ups, preparing exam rooms, performing lab controls and EHR documentation, and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• Preferred: previous patient care experience.
• BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients; obtain vital signs and history; assist with screenings.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Provide follow-up with patients via preferred communication method.
• Prepare exam rooms and manage medical supplies.
• Perform lab controls and equipment checks.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
