Qualifications

• High School / GED or Completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Certification within 120 days of hire; must obtain certification.
• Accepted Medical Assistant Certifications (NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA).
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of a health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients; record vitals, history, tobacco and medications.
• Assist with exams and procedures; may act as a scribe with training.
• Document in EHR and follow standardized workflows.
