Job summary

NYU Langone Health in New York invites applications for a Clinical Supply Chain Associate. You will work with Nursing and surgeons to ensure needed items are on hand for upcoming cases and manage requisitions, deliveries, and stock levels across storerooms and OR carts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or combination of education and healthcare experience.
• Strong knowledge of surgical equipment and inventory controls.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, control and restock areas supplies for Clinical Supply Chain Management.
• Pick cases for next day’s cases and maintain tissue/temperature logs.
• Assist with LVAD department requests and attend departmental meetings.
• Communicate with coworkers and Nursing staff via email or verbally.
• Create patient supply requests and establish par reviews on all carts.
• Develop relationships with vendors for loaner trays and consignment supplies.
• Reconcile invoices with Purchasing & Accounts Payable; handle substitutions.
• Open deliveries and replenish stock in storerooms and OR carts.
