Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Associate to support surgical and nursing teams with on-hand supplies for upcoming cases. You will create, track and receive requisitions, receive deliveries, and maintain stock levels across storage locations.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, cost-saving opportunities through par cart reviews, and collaboration with vendors, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable to ensure timely supply availability and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of surgical equipment and inventory controls.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, control and restock all areas supplies for Clinical Supply Chain Management.
• Pick cases for next day's cases.
• Maintain tissue and temperature log books.
• Assist with LVAD department requests.
• Attend departmental/Nursing related meetings.
• Communicate with coworkers and Nursing staff verbally/by email.
• Create Patient Supply Requests for new products approved by ICB & Nursing leadership.
• Establish par amounts and complete par reviews on all carts.
• Develop working relationships with vendors for loans/consignments.
• Open incoming deliveries and replenish stock in storeroom/OR carts.
