Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT, seeks an Inventory Specialist responsible for overseeing departmental inventories, binning supplies, par levels, and Kanban visuals to ensure clinical areas are stocked and ready.

You'll coordinate with Supply Chain, manage par locations, use WMS and SCIS systems, and monitor stock levels daily to resolve discrepancies while supporting efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Six months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• English proficiency; able to follow instructions and document effectively.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and scheduling apps.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Experience handling healthcare supplies and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control for stock and non-stock items for assigned units.
• Keep supplies binned and organized and manage par levels and Kanban visuals.
• Liaise between Supply Chain and department to ensure availability.
• Order and deliver supplies using systems and suppliers; monitor stock levels daily.
