Intermountain Health in Butte, MT seeks an inventory management professional to oversee day-to-day control of medical supplies, linens, and equipment for a clinical unit or department.

You will set par levels, organize stock, and coordinate with the Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery and accurate reporting. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and hands-on experience with healthcare supplies.

Qualifications

• Six Months of related Materials Management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow verbal and written instructions, and understand customer communications.
• Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications.
• Experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability.
• Demonstrated ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, computed reports, and like objects.
• Demonstrated ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment (e.g., hand truck, carts).
• Experience in a role working with healthcare supplies.

Responsabilités

• Oversees inventory control for stock and non-stock items; sets par levels and identifies trends.
• Keeps supplies binned and organized.
• Acts as liaison between Supply Chain and the department or facility.
• Orders and delivers supplies using appropriate technology, systems, and suppliers.
• Communicates information on supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation to staff.
• Troubleshoots issues for resolution.
• Manages Par Location, PIRS replenishment, location maintenance, delivery, label maintenance and Kanban visuals.
• Monitors and reconciles on-hand quantities and resolves discrepancies.
• Uses the SCIS system to manage distribution, inventory, receiving, and reporting in line with auditing and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures compliance with policies and SOPs.
• Reviews daily, weekly and monthly reports for assigned locations.
