Job summary

Summit Pacific Medical Center is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to receive, deliver, and stock Central Supply items to ensure uninterrupted patient care. You will be detail-minded with strong math skills and excellent communication.

Responsibilities include managing PAR, conducting inventories, coordinating with the Inventory Coordinator and buyers, and assisting staff with supply inquiries. High school diploma or GED and 2 years inventory experience (healthcare preferred) are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years inventory experience preferred, healthcare inventory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems desired.
• Strong mathematical and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and stock Central Supply items to prevent stockouts.
• Deliver supply requests to the floor and manage PAR (Periodic Automatic Replenishment).
• Conduct physical inventories and assist with cycle counts quarterly and yearly.
• Record discrepancies and coordinate with management on recalls and adjustments.
• Collaborate with Associate Buyer on pending orders and PAR adjustments.
• Anticipate supply needs and communicate potential interruptions to leadership.
• Assist customers and maintain inventory logs and tracking system.
• Maintain mail, shipping/receiving, and stockroom organization.
