Job summary

University Health System- San Antonio is seeking an Inventory Management professional to assist in maintaining and analyzing supply rooms, PAR levels, and ordering processes across multiple hospital sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Materials Management, Annex, and clinical departments to optimize inventory and par levels, while supporting crash cart processes and hospital equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in hospital setting, inventory management, warehousing is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree with emphasis in materials management or procurement and acquisitions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze supply rooms, PAR levels, and ordering processes.
• Assures the System is appropriately functioning, when warranted.
• Stocking, credits, department transfers, building supply rooms, picking cases/orders, stock, ordering non-stock products, receiving, dock functions.
• Handling crash cart process, finding and cleaning hospital equipment as needed.
• May be assigned to various Hospitals as needed to support operations.
• Collaborate with Annex, clinics all hospital sites, procedural and patient care services, and Materials Management staff to optimize inventory and par levels.
