Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (RN) to lead, mentor and support the nursing team delivering home-based care in Davenport, IA. The role combines internal case management with field-based supervision and ongoing professional guidance for staff.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in the state, have at least 1 year of nursing experience, and can travel to patients’ homes. The position offers a hybrid work model with potential in-office and field time based on branch needs.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in the practicing state.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on nursing experience.
• Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in designated territory.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass MVR check.
• Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
• Willing to supervise caregivers for infants to adults.

Responsibilities

• Internal case management, evaluation, education and development of nursing talent.
• Oversee transition of patients from facility to home during Start of Care and Re-evaluations.
• Review orders, update plans of care and documentation as needed.
• Assist with selecting, training and validation of new clinical staff.
• Promote and enhance clinical expertise to provide safe, high-quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
• Ensure adherence to State, Federal, Local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures.

Clinical Supervisor (RN) (Nursing Supervisor)

Responsibilities Of The Nursing Supervisor

• Internal case management, evaluation , education and development of nursing talent
• Participating in the transition of our patients from the facility to their home through “Start of Care Assessments” and “Re-evaluations”
• Review physicians’ orders and update the plans of care and documentation, as necessary
• Assist with selecting, training and validation of new clinical staff
• Promote and enhance the level of clinical expertise of staff to provide safe and quality nursing care for our patients
• Collaborating with the operations and business development team
• Ensure adherence to State, Federal, Local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures

Qualifications Of The Nursing Supervisor

• Must have good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
