Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead and mentor home health staff in Peoria, IL. The role combines internal case management with field visits to supervise staff and ensure top-quality patient care, including Start of Care and re-evaluations.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure, 1+ year of nursing and pediatric experience, CPR certification, and willingness to travel to patient homes. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid RN license in the practicing state.
• At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience required.
• At least 1 year of pediatric experience required.
• Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in designated territory.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; MVR check.
• Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
• Willingness to supervise caregivers for infants to adults.

Responsibilities

• Internal case management, education and development of nursing talent.
• Transition patients from facility to home through Start of Care assessments and re-evaluations.
• Review orders, update plans of care and documentation as needed.
• Assist with selecting, training and validation of new clinical staff.
• Promote clinical excellence to provide safe, high-quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
• Ensure adherence to state, federal, local regulations and Aveanna procedures.

Clinical Supervisor (RN)

Compensation

$70k - 75k base salary plus, oncall pay, monthly bonus potential, cellphone and mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities Of The Nursing Supervisor

• Internal case management, evaluation , education and development of nursing talent
• Participating in the transition of our patients from the facility to their home through “Start of Care Assessments” and “Re-evaluations”
• Review physicians’ orders and update the plans of care and documentation, as necessary
• Assist with selecting, training and validation of new clinical staff
• Promote and enhance the level of clinical expertise of staff to provide safe and quality nursing care for our patients
• Collaborating with the operations and business development team
• Ensure adherence to State, Federal, Local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures

Qualifications Of The Nursing Supervisor

• Must have good standing license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Must have at least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
• Must have at least 1 year of pediatric experience
• Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in designated territory
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass MVR check
• Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
