About the Role
This is an administrative and field‑based position. Internally, the supervisor handles case management, patient intake, discharge to home, the start‑of‑care process, and nurse competency validation. Field work includes mentoring field staff in patient homes.
Work Location
Indianapolis, IN – branch office with in‑home visits and a potential hybrid schedule depending on branch needs.

Responsibilities
- Internal case management, evaluation, education, and development of nursing talent
- Participate in the transition of patients from facility to home through start‑of‑care assessments and reevaluations
- Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as needed
- Assist with selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff
- Promote and enhance the level of clinical expertise of staff to provide safe and quality nursing care
- Collaborate with the operations and business development team
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Good standing RN license in the state of practice
- At least 1 year of hands‑on nursing experience
- Ability to travel to patients’ homes within designated territory
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass MVR check
- Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
- Willingness to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
