Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations within a designated unit in Georgia. The role oversees day-to-day clinical activities and ensures high-quality patient care while reporting to unit leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a Georgia RN license, 3+ years of clinical experience with at least 1 year in a specialty area, and a Basic Life Support certification. ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials are preferred for advanced units.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree and active Georgia RN license.
• 3+ years of clinical experience with at least 1 year in specialty area.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other life-support credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing operations of a unit as a member of the leadership team.
• Assumes 24-hour nursing responsibility in the absence of the Manager or Director.
• Works with unit-specific patient population.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
