Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join the unit-based leadership team in Atlanta and beyond. This role will supervise nursing operations and, in the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility for a unit with a specific patient population.

REQUIRED qualifications include a nursing degree and a Georgia RN license, with 3 years in a clinical area and 1 year in a specialty, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Work Hours:

7PM-7AM
