Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations on a unit during the 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift. The role requires overseeing daily patient care, coordinating with the unit team, and ensuring safe, quality outcomes.

REQUIRED: RN licensed in Georgia with BSN or higher, 3 years clinical experience and at least 1 year in a specialty, BLS certification; preferred ACLS/PALS. Visual color acuity may be required by unit.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Work with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
