Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join its unit-based leadership team in the Atlanta area. You will supervise nursing operations, ensuring quality care and 24-hour coverage in the absence of management, while working with a defined patient population.

The role requires a nursing degree, GA RN license, and BLS certification, with preferred ACLS/PALS or related certifications to support specialty units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Preferred: Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.

Required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Preferred
