Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations on a unit. The role includes overseeing patient care activities, guiding staff, and ensuring quality standards are met on a 7PM–7AM shift at our Atlanta-area campus.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree, Georgia RN licensure, and BLS certification, with 3 years of clinical experience and 1 year in a specialty area. Additional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a RN or Multi/state license
• Must hold BLS certification.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Work Hours:

7PM-7AM
