Job summary

WestCare Foundation seeks a supervisor to lead counselors at Sheridan Correctional Center, ensuring high-quality counseling, intake coordination, and program adherence. You will oversee case management, documentation, and client outcomes in a secured setting.

Qualifications

• Hold clinical certification as a CADC or licensed professional in psychology, counseling, or social work.
• Masters or bachelors degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Certification and licensure must meet Illinois state standards and agency policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision of counselors assigned to the program.
• Monitor adherence to program policies and procedures.
• Conduct monthly QA reviews of treatment case files for compliance.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Cover for counselors during illness or training periods.
• Oversee intake and orientation for clients and families; assess psychosocial functioning.
• Assist with data collection, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate ancillary services and community referrals.
