Heritage Valley Beaver seeks a seasoned nurse leader to assist the unit manager in delivering high-quality patient care. This role focuses on coordinating clinical services, managing resources, and serving as the on-site administrator during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Applicants must hold PA RN licensure, with at least 3 years of supervision experience; CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable; and complete all required clearances within 90 days of hire.

Qualifikationen

• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in the area supervised.
• PALS and NRP certification required for Maternal Child Health.
• ACLS and PALS required for PACU.
• Comprehensive Crisis Management certification required for Behavioral Health.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of starting employment.

Description

Department: Psychiatric Unit
Work Hours: Full-Time 72hr position, primarily evening/ night coverage. Rotating weekends and holidays as required.

Basic Function: This position has shift accountability in assisting the Manager in providing high quality, cost effective patient care, through the appropriate, direct management of human and fiscal resources. Primary responsibility includes the coordination of department clinical services. Collaboration with other departments is essential. This position functions as the on-site administrative representative during “off shifts”, holidays and weekends.

Required: This position requires current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse, a minimum of three years clinical experience in the clinical area that they supervise and demonstrated expert clinical and leadership skills. PALS and NRP certification is required for Maternal Child Health. ACLS and PALS are required for PACU. Comprehensive Crisis Management certification is required for Behavioral Health. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred: B.S.N. or Bachelors degree in a health care related field and prior hospital management experience. Applicable clinical/administration certification is desirable.
