Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is looking for a Clinical Supervisor to oversee nursing operations in Cumming, Georgia. The successful candidate will join a unit-based leadership team, taking responsibility for nursing operations and patient care. This position requires commitment to patient care from 7pm to 7am, making it essential to be proactive and adaptable in managing clinical staff and patient needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three years experience in clinical area with one year in specialty.
• Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse.
• Hold BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing operations of the unit.
• Assume 24-hour nursing responsibility in absence of management.
• Work with a unit-specific patient population.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

7pm-7am
