Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our Atlanta team. The role centers on supervising the nursing operations of a specific unit and ensuring high-quality patient care.

In the absence of the Manager or Director, this role may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility, coordinating with the unit team to maintain seamless care delivery for the patient population in our award-winning hospital.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with two years of clinical experience in the area of specialty.

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
3. Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
4. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
5. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
6. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED

1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
